This tool is intended to work as an Instagram Reels downloader, but the feature is not yet active. When it is, it will resolve a public Reels share link into direct media files. For now, Instagram links are not supported.
How would I use this Instagram video downloader?
Once this feature is enabled, you would copy the share link from a public Instagram post and paste it here. The tool would then fetch the available video and image files directly from Instagram's servers for you to save.
Is it possible to download Instagram Reels with this tool?
It is not currently possible to download Instagram Reels. This page is a placeholder for a feature that is not yet built. You can use this site's other tools to save videos from public TikTok and Douyin links.
Can I save Instagram video from a private account?
No. Even when this tool is active, it will only work with public posts. It cannot access content from private accounts, friends-only posts, or Instagram Stories, as these require a login to view.
What is an Instagram Reels link resolver?
An Instagram Reels link resolver is a tool that takes the share URL of a public Reel and finds the direct link to the MP4 video file on the platform's servers. This allows you to save the original file without the in-app interface.
Will I need an Instagram account to use this?
No account will be needed. The tool is designed to work without a login, using only the public share link you provide. It makes the same kind of request that a logged-out web browser would make.
Does this tool save Instagram videos to a phone?
The tool runs in your phone's browser, and any saved files go to your device's default download location. On an iPhone, this is usually the Files app. From there, you can use the share menu to move the video to your Photos library.
